We hope you all got a chance to tune into KZST last Friday to hear about one of our latest recipients! Alicia is a young adult who received full custody of her younger sister when their mom died three years ago. Coming from a vulnerable place having suffered abuse in early life Alicia has made her way into our hearts. Alicia gave up all she had worked for to take care of her mom while she was dying of colon cancer, soon after her mother’s death Alicia took on her 10 year old sister and for the past three years has supported herself and her sister financially, physically, and emotionally. Alicia has been doing all of this while working toward her future and putting herself and her sister thru school. Thank you for all of your hard work in such trying times, and we hope you know, you are loved.
